To commemorate the Dual Year of Spain in Japan 2013-2014, we are holding the Special Exhibition Takehiko Inoue interprets Gaudi’s Universe.
On the coast of the Mediterranean Sea lies the beautiful city of Barcelona, here during the 19th and 20th century, Antoni Gaudi left numerous creative works many of which are declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as Park Guell, Casa Mila, Casa Batll6, and most famously, Sagrada Familia, which since 1882, continues to be under construction.
Gaudi’s architecture celebrated for its individualized and distinctive style, cannot be classified into any singular architectural genre, and this extraordinary originality continues to attract visitors from around the world.
