The meta-world war II architecture of Mexico is a celebration to International style Le Corbusier and to other imported foreign influences. Especially productive was the period between 1950-1960. The world at large accepted the Mexican foreign style adaptations as the real Mexican architecture of the Twentieth Century.

The frequent use of genuine Mexican murals, by some of Mexico’s most important painters and muralists and their incorporation to the newly erected buildings had undoubtable affect on that acceptance.

The International architectural opinion offered nothing else but praise to what was indeed a heroic attempt in meeting social goals through expeditious construction policies and well adapted construction methods.
